This Gate is incredible!!!! It's more than I had hoped it would be!! Thanks to "Customer Comments" I was able to pick out this beauty. It's solid, it's beautiful, and the little gates that open, close, and even lock are really neat. Like I said, more than I even dreamed of. Worth every penny, and easy as stuff to put together. My little Scottie girl doesn't know what to think. Thank you so very very
much!!!! Julia Crawford---Oh, one down side,:-(, it is heavy. A little person like my Mother wouldn't be able to move it. That's one reason the little gates on the side are so nice. BUT, that is the ONLY down side I can find with it.

I ordered the taller version of this gate and am very glad I did. Our pet - a poodle - about 12-15 lbs, is well suited for this gate. She isn't trying to jump over it because visually it seems too high. Also, the gate is well made and heavy enough that she won't be able to shove it out of the way. The side panels allow her to see a larger area when we arrange the gate at an angle between two walls....like seeing around a corner. The "feet" of the gate are solid and there is no way the gate will tip over. Expensive, but worth it.

We have two dogs, each weighing 50+ pounds. One of them is still a 10 month old puppy(read hyper).We needed a gate that would block the stairs going to the basement, without drilling holes in the hard wood banister. Well, this gate fits the bill in every way. The dogs have accepted it as a permanent fixture and have not even attempted to jump it. The movable side panels are easy to maneuver for the humans(read teenagers).We are very happy with the gate and i have ordered a second gate for upstairs.
